The flutes and recesses are arranged on one or more segments inone ormore respective alternating patterns along a circumferential axis of the meterroller,and the flutes and recesses are configured to meter flowable particulatematerial froma storage tank to a material distribution system via rotation of the meterroller. Inaddition, each segment includes at least 12 flutes, each segment includes atleast 12recesses, and an aggregate volume of the recesses is between about 80,000 mm3andabout 84,000 mm3.
