Described is a medical device for collecting objects from a body lumen (22). The medical device comprises a catheter (12), a basket (14) which may have a closed first end and an open second end, and an actuator connected to the closed first end of the basket, the catheter and basket being moveable relative to one another between a first configuration and a second configuration so as to draw objects from a body lumen into the basket (14). In the first configuration the closed first end (16) of the basket (14) is inside the catheter (12) and open second end (18) is everted over at least a part of the closed first end (16). The apparatus may be actuated so as to pull the closed first end of the basket further into the catheter (12) and invert the second end (18) of the basket, the second end (18) scraping the sides of the lumen (22) as it inverts, surrounding an object in the lumen (22), and drawing the object into the basket (14).L'invention concerne un dispositif médical de collecte d'objets à partir d'une lumière corporelle (22).
