The emitter includes a cylindrical main body. The inlet filtering device comprises a bored nipple 104 connectible to an irrigation pipe, and a second element 124. The emitter includes an outlet opening 118, and flow restrictors 140 between the filtering device and the outlet. The second element is moveably disposed in the nipple. In other embodiments, the emitter includes a bored nipple, flow-restrictors and a self moving element. The nipple may be directly connectible to a source of pressurized fluid, and indirectly connectible to an outlet. The self moving element is disposed at least in part within the nipple, and defines with the nipple a filtering function. The self rotating element is variable in position within the nipple by means of the interaction of the element with the fluid which may provide a cleaning function to remove dirt. The self moving element may include a turbine rotating in response to fluid flow. A concave surface of a circular labyrinth at distance from an elastic membrane is shaped to produce self regulation of flow.
