PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair coloring agent which does not give use feeling, such as stickiness and roughness, to hair, while being excellent in color development at the time of use, and is also excellent in the persistence of the color development and moreover, ease of wash-out at the time of shampoo.SOLUTION: The hair coloring agent is mixed with the following components (a) to (c): (a) oil with a melting point of 55°C or more (b) 10-30 mass % of isostearic acid and (c) 25-55 mass % of an inorganic pigment.
