PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle assembly with a simple structure, while having a protector for covering the distal end of an inner needle and a valve body for hemostasis.SOLUTION: The indwelling needle assembly 10 includes: an outer needle 11 having a hollow shape an outer needle hub 13 having a hollow shape and communicating with one end of the outer needle the inner needle 12 inserted to the outer needle from the one end of the outer needle via the outer needle hub the valve body 15 arranged in the outer needle hub so as to clog the outer needle hub and having a slit part 150 where the inner needle is put through and the protector 14 where the inner needle is put through and which is arranged in an internal space 18 or the slit part 150 enclosed by the valve body and the outer needle hub and communicating with the outer needle.
