Disclosed herein is a method of measuring the progress of alopecia in which the progress of alopecia of a hair loss region of a measured person is accurately determined through a mathematical algorithm. In the method, a value indicating the progress of alopecia of the hair loss region is numerically calculated based on the numbers of hairs, thicknesses of the hairs and the numbers of the hairs of a normal region and a hair loss region of the measured person, thereby more accurately determining the progress of alopecia compared to a conventional method of measuring the progress of alopecia from the observation with the naked eye and the experience of a measurer. Further, the progress of alopecia is accurately determined, and thus a proper treatment is carried out according to the progress of alopecia, thus effectively treating alopecia.본 발명이 해결하려는 과제는 수학적 알고리즘을 통하여 탈모의 진행 정도를 정확하게 파악하기 위한 탈모진행정도의 측정 방법을 제공하는 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 탈모진행정도를 피측정자의 모발수, 모발두께 및 모낭수를 바탕으로 수학적 알고리즘을 통하여 수치적으로 산출하므로, 종래 측정자의 경험 및 눈짐작으로 탈모의 진행 정도를 파악한 것에 비하여 탈모의 진행 정도를 더욱 정확하게 파악할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한, 탈모의 진행 정도를 정확하게 파악함으로써, 탈모의 진행 정도에 따라 적절한 치료를 할 수 있으므로, 탈모를 효과적으로 치료할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
