If the cancer is lung cancer, the pathogenic bacterial species may be Streptococcus pneumoniae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Staphylococcus aureus, Chlamydia pneumoniae, or Legionella pneumophila.
