PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer in which generation of foreign materials, contamination, and separation (loosening) caused by deformation of a plug member is suppressed when high speed rotation is loaded on a drug solution container, a foreign material inspection preparation system, a foreign material inspection system, and a manufacturing method for the drug solution container.SOLUTION: A retainer 10 comprises a case part 11 and a rotatable seat part 16. The case part 11 includes: a first contact part 15 to be in contact with the seat part 16 and a second contact part 14 to be in contact with a drug solution container 1. The seat part 16 includes: a mounting surface 17 for mounting the drug solution container 1 and a seat part side contact part 19 to be in contact with the first contact part 15.
