SOLUTION: In the tape type disposable diaper, the vertical direction length of a crotch part C determined as a cross direction range forming such a constricted curve shape that both side edges are along legs is 30-50% of the entire diaper length L the vertical direction length of a back side girth part TB is 25-35% of the entire diaper length L the lateral direction length W of the back side girth part TB is 45-70% of the entire diaper length L and the vertical direction length 5Y of a fixing panel 5 is 20-35% of the entire diaper length L. A separation distance 5Z between the lower edge of the fixing panel 5 and the cross direction center of the diaper is controlled to 15-28% of the entire diaper length L.
