The present invention relates to an apparatus for analyzing a medical image and a method for identifying a pulmonary vessel and a pulmonary nodule. The method for identifying a pulmonary vessel and a pulmonary nodule may include a step of detecting an object which exists in a medical image of a chest by photographing； a step of calculating mobility by tracing the position of the object through the continuous slice images of the medical image； and a step of determining the object as the pulmonary vessel when the mobility is greater than a predetermined reference value, or determining the object as the pulmonary nodule otherwise.본 발명은 의료 영상 분석 장치 및 이의 폐결절과 폐혈관 구분 방법에 관한 것으로, 상기 의료 영상 분석 장치의 폐결절과 폐혈관 구분 방법은, 흉부를 촬영한 의료 영상내에 존재하는 객체를 검출하는 단계； 상기 의료 영상의 연속되는 슬라이스 이미지들을 통해 상기 객체의 위치를 추적하고 이동성을 산출하는 단계； 및 상기 이동성이 기 설정된 기준 값 이상이면 상기 객체를 폐혈관으로 판단하고, 그렇지 않으면 상기 객체를 폐결절로 판단하는 단계；를 포함할 수 있다.
