PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that conventionally there is no hair-growing agent inhibiting/improving thin hair and hair loss, urging the growth and restoration of the hair, without giving any bad effect to a human body and capable of being inexpensively provided.
SOLUTION: This method for producing the hair-growing agent is provided by preparing a multiple number of pieces of round slices of ginger rhizome, drying them, putting the dried ginger rhizome into hard water having 25 to 30 folds weight to the total weight of the dried ginger rhizome, boiling for approximately 3 to 4 min under conditions at approximately 1 atm and approximately 100°C, mixing supernatant obtained by removing impurities from the boiled liquid with ethanol used for disinfection, further removing impurities from the mixed liquid to obtain stock solution, putting live centipedes in the stock solution and removing the centipedes after approximately 1 week.
