PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upright replaceable drug storage container capable of achieving high durability of a medical effect and preventing or reducing leakage of a drug in falling or the like by using a soft package material.SOLUTION: A drug storage container for an upright drug diffuser for volatilizing a drug from an upper volatilization body 30 includes: a container body 11 formed with a soft package material and supported by a container support part 20 of the drug diffuser a liquid absorbing wick material 12 housed in the container body and a sealing structure 14 capable of sealing the upper end of the wick material and unsealing it upon use. In the sealing structure, the upper end of the wick material is unsealed so that the wick material upper end is exposed and contact with the volatilization body is made possible.
