PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator capable of certainly detecting an intermediate position by precisely detecting the angle of rotation of a flow rate setting knob.SOLUTION: In the step 200, it is judged whether the concentration of oxygen concentrated gas is abnormal on the basis of the signal from an oxygen sensor 99 and, in the step 210, the concentration value of oxygen is recorded on a memory 109. In the step 220, it is judged whether the angle of rotation is at an intermediate position on the basis of the signal from a potentiometer 103. That is, it is judged whether the angle of rotation is at the intermediate position out of a range of the set positions corresponding to respective set flow rates (judge range between an upper limit and a lower limit). In the step 230, since the angle of rotation is judged to be at the intermediate position, it is recorded that the angle of rotation is at the intermediate position in relation to the judge result of the abnormality of the concentration of the oxygen concentrated gas.
