The invention refers to forestry sector and it is developed for assembling and de-assembling the wood ash spreading unit on roundwood forwarder in the field conditions, when other load lifting mechanisms are not available.For this purpose a device consisting of four telescopic support stacks (1) assembled from two pieces each and with manually operated hydro-cylinders (13) mounted inside the stacks is developed. The device can lift wood ash spreader (15) to a certain height above forwarder and keep it in this position, while forwarder can drive out from the lifted wood ash spreader unit and continue transportation of logs. After completion of forwarding operation, forwarder can return to the lifted wood ash spreader unit, drive in between the stacks and assemble again the wood ash spreading unit. The developed device can be used with forwarder if there is need to transform the machine from log forwarding to wood ash spreading operation and backwards.
