PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for effectively and efficiently sanitizing tray tables within a vehicle.SOLUTION: A sanitation assembly 108 operatively coupled to a tray table 102 is provided that includes: an ultraviolet (UV) light source 112 configured to emit UV light and a sanitation control unit 114 operatively coupled to the UV light source.
