PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable eelgrass nursery bed sheet capable of easily and surely performing the restoration, reclamation and maintenance of an eelgrass bed.SOLUTION: This biodegradable eelgrass nursery bed sheet is provided by forming a sheet having 40 mm thickness by thermally bonding mixed fibers consisting of 80 % polylactic acid fibers and 20 % bamboo fibers, seeding 50 pieces of eelgrass seeds collected at a natural eelgrass bed at 1.5 m depth of Kotsubo seashore of Zushi city of Kanagawa prefecture, culturing/growing the seedlings in an aquarium by overflowing sea water at &ge20°C water temperature to become 15 to 20 cm which is a transplanting size, cutting the sheet having 1,500 to 1,600 pieces/m2 seedlings becoming the transplanting size by a prescribed size, laying them to meet with the unevenness of the sea bottom consisting of silt and mud in the above shallow sea area and fixing them with bamboo skewers.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】アマモ藻場の修復・造成・保全を容易に且つ確実に行うことができる生分解性アマモ苗床シートを提供する。【解決手段】ポリ乳酸繊維80%と竹繊維20%から成る混紡繊維をサーマルボンディンで厚さ40mmのシートにし、神奈川県逗子市小坪海岸の沖合水深1.5mの天然アマモ藻場から採取したアマモの種子50粒を播種し、最低水温20℃の海水を掛けながして水槽で培養・育成し、移植サイズとなる15~20cmまで生育させ、移植サイズとなった苗が1,500~1,600本/m2となったものをアマモ苗床シートとして所定の大きさに裁断して、前記浅海域のシルトおよび泥土から成る海底の不陸に合わせて敷設し、竹串で固定する。【選択図】なし
