The invention relates to a plant cultivation apparatus comprising a cultivation unit that has at least a vertical cultivation device for holding plants to be cultivated and a plant growth arrangement for treating the plants. A framework (2a) of the cultivation device comprises an elongated body in longitudinal direction (s) thereof with an uninterruptedly continuing hollow interior making possible spraying a growth medium in liquid form essentially over the whole length of the framework only to the roots of the plants, being held on the framework. The elongated framework (2a) is a module structured composition consisting at least of a bottom element (2a1), a top element (2a2) and/or an intermediate element (2a3) and elongated wall elements (2a4) with holes and/or sockets (2b), the elements comprising fastening means (Y) for coupling of the elements removably with each other on quick release principle.
