PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization agent which exerts its action without requiring light and can maintain the action for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A sterilization/deodorization agent targetting bacteria, odors and toxic substances is produced by bonding silver being metal to the particles of titanium dioxide being a ceramic by a method selected from the group comprising (1) thermal bonding, (2) pressure bonding, and (3) thermal/pressure bonding, and is constituted by mixing hydroxyapatite as an adsorbing agent with the resulting product. The agent can be mixed with an ink, a binder, and a coating material and can be applied to various base materials.【課題】光を必要とせずに作用し、長期間にわたって作用を持続させることができる殺菌剤を提供する。【解決手段】細菌、臭気、有毒物質等を対象とした殺菌／脱臭剤であって、セラミックである二酸化チタン粒子に、（１）熱結合、（２）圧力結合、（３）熱／圧力結合からなる群より選択される方法によって金属である銀を結合して製造され、吸着材としてのハイドロキシアパタイトを製造物に混合することで構成される。当該剤は、インク、結合剤、塗料と混合することができ、多種の基材に用いることができる。【選択図】図１
