The present technology relates to a method for modulating in situ production of energy by a biological tissue comprising stimulating the biological tissue by exposing said biological tissue to a photostimulated biophotonic composition for a time sufficient to initiate the production of energy by the biological tissue. Said energy is in the form of ultra- weak photon emission and is stimulated by fluorescence emitted from the photostimulated biophotonic composition, which comprises a light-absorbing molecule, preferably a xanthene dye such as an eosin. Interestingly, said ultra-weak photon emission by the biological tissue is maintained once the stimulation is stopped.La présente technologie concerne un procédé de modulation de la production d'énergie in situ par un tissu biologique comprenant la stimulation du tissu biologique par exposition dudit tissu biologique à une composition biophotonique photostimulée pendant une durée suffisante pour amorcer la production d'énergie par le tissu biologique. Ladite énergie se présente sous la forme d'une émission photonique ultra-faible et est stimulée par la fluorescence émise par la composition biophotonique photostimulée, qui comprend une molécule absorbant la lumière, de préférence un colorant xanthénique tel qu'une éosine. De façon intéressante, ladite émission photonique ultra-faible en provenance du tissu biologique se poursuit une fois la stimulation interrompue.
