PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin coated pipe having an easily broken up coating layer made of a synthetic resin, and facilitating peeling the coating layer off from a pipe material.SOLUTION: This resin coated pipe P is so formed that a stopper body 2 which has an outward form almost equal to that of a pipe material 1 is fitted and inserted into at least at one end of the pipe material 1 having a proper length, a coating layer 3 made of the synthetic resin is formed from the outer peripheral side of the pipe material 1 to the outer peripheral side of the stopper body 2, a linear body 4 is provided between the outer peripheral side of the pipe material 1 and the coating layer 3, and the end of the linear body 4 is positioned between the outer peripheral side of the stopper body 2 and the coating layer 3.
