An aerosol delivery system (10) comprising: a vessel (14) comprising a first end, a second end, and a body (24), the body comprising a liquid reservoir (34) and an air passage (36)； and a multi-lumen tubing (16) comprising an upper portion and a tip end, and being attached to the vessel (14) at the second end thereof； wherein the multi-lumen tubing (16) includes multiple lumens with a central lumen (50) and one or more peripheral lumens (52)； wherein in the multi-lumen tubing a liquid path from the liquid reservoir (34) and through the central lumen (50) and a gas path from the gas passage (36) and through at least one peripheral lumen (52) are defined； wherein an aerosol (66) is generated at the tip end of the multi-lumen tubing (16).
