PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for an endoscope which can effectively cool an insertion part over the whole range where a cooling fluid fis allowed to flow, and to provide an endoscopic system.
SOLUTION: The cooling device for the endoscope 20 includes: a sheath 21 which is an almost tubular member into which at least a top end side having an observation member 3 for observing an specimen is inserted and whose top end is closed to form a cooling chamber which can be filled with the fluid for cooling A on an inner circumferential side thereof, in the insertion part 6 of the endoscopic system 1 and a fluid supplying means 24 capable of pressure-injecting the fluid for cooling A into the cooling chamber. The sheath 21 has a large number of very small communication holes 21 for communicating the cooling chamber with the outside from the base end to the top end and is made of an elastic material which is elastically deformed according to the pressure of the cooling chamber by the fluid supplying means 24, to enlarge the diameters of the communication holes 21a.
