To provide means for detecting a lesion by a radiodiagnostic agent more accurately, in diagnosis of bacterial infections.SOLUTION: We examined the uptake of amino acids into bacterial cells during each growth phase, using E. coli K-12-derived strains, furthermore, investigated the integration rate of amino acids into proteins, and the characteristics of the accumulation mechanism involved in accumulation, and found out that [2,3-H]-L-alanine that is an example of a radioisotope-labeled amino acid is accumulated specifically into bacterial cells at the time of propagation activity of E. coli K-12-derived strains.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】細菌性感染症の診断において、放射性診断薬による病変の検出をより正確に行うための手段を提供する。
