The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cellular senescence or senescence-associated diseases, comprising an antibody which specifically binds to CD9 as an effective component, wherein the CD9-specific antibody specifically binds to an extracellular region of CD9 antigen exposed to the surface of cells, thereby exhibiting effects of inhibiting cellular senescence through reducing CD9 expression in aged cells and reducing atherosclerotic lesions, which are a senescence-associated vascular disease. Accordingly, the CD9 of the present invention can be used as a biomarker composition for cellular senescence or senescence-associated diseases, and a composition comprising a CD9-specific antibody as an effective component can be beneficially used as a pharmaceutical composition or a dietary supplement composition capable of inhibiting cellular senescence, or preventing or treating senescence-associated diseases.본 발명은 CD9에 특이적으로 결합하는 항체를 유효성분으로 함유하는 세포노화 또는 노화 관련 질환 예방 또는 치료용 약학조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 CD9 특이적 항체는 세포 표면에 노출되어 있는 CD9 항원의 세포외 영역과 특이적으로 결합함으로써, 노화된 세포에서 CD9의 발현을 감소시켜 세포 노화를 억제하고, 노화와 관련된 혈관질환인 죽상경화 병변을 감소시키는 효과를 나타내었다. 따라서, 본 발명의 CD9은 세포 노화 또는 노화 관련 질환의 바이오마커 조성물로 사용될 수 있으며, CD9 특이적 항체를 유효성분으로 함유하는 조성물을 세포 노화를 억제 또는 노화 관련 질환을 예방하거나 치료할 수 있는 약학조성물 또는 건강식품조성물로 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
