PURPOSE: A vertical garden box is provided to raise plants along the external wall of the building and to raise plants in the unchanged environment regardless the external environmental change. CONSTITUTION: A vegetation space is formed to block the outside air by a housing(20) which has vertical transparent windows on the external wall of the building. A planting wall(11) is formed vertically in the vegetation space as the external wall of the building. The vegetation space and housing are constructed with a shape such as letters or patterns on the external wall of the building. Plants are implanted on the planting wall with various plants in size and color according to the predetermined letters or patterns. The vegetation space is divided to a greenhouse space(10a) and purification space(10b) in forward and backward of the planting wall respectively. The vegetation space comprises an air circulation means connected to an air-inlet and outlet(31,32) so that the air is able to be circulated to the inside of the building. The planting wall is installed with multiple vegetation blocks laminated on a vertical framework(12) with a gap from the external wall of the building.본 발명은 다층건물의 외부벽면에 식물에 의한 녹화조성을 통하여 공기정화와 함께 경관효과를 발생토록 한 것으로, 다층건물의 외부 벽면과 동일한 면으로 식물이 식재될 수 있도록 식재벽을 형성하면서 그 식재벽이 하우징에 의하여 외기와 밀폐된 구조를 갖도록 하고, 하우징에는 투명창을 형성하여 식재벽이 형성된 식생공간이 온실효과를 갖도록 함으로써 식생공간 내에 있는 식물이 건강하게 생육하면서 공기정화효과는 물론 관상효과를 갖도록 하며, 이때 식생공간에 식재되어 있는 식물을 특정한 형태의 무늬나 로고 등으로 표현함으로써 녹화조성된 식물의 잎과 뿌리를 통하여 공기가 순환되면서 공기정화효과를 발생시킴은 물론, 건물의 외부벽면에 녹화조성된 식물을 이용하여 다양한 광고면을 조성할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
