The invention relates to a typodont device capable of simulating dento-maxillary anomalies and which allows the visualization, for educational purpose, of the way of carrying out the treatment schedule. According to the invention, the device comprises two maxillary and mandibular components (), the maxillary component () being made of two superposed plates (), which may glide in relation to one another, to result in a total adjusting travel of 10.2 mm, and their fixation in position being performed by two screws (), the second mentioned plate () being provided with a hinge-type mechanism, consisting of an axle (), some bushings () made of bronze and some safety rings () which allow angular corrections of + - 10° in relation to the horizontal position, by means of a screw (), the maxillary component () being fixed on a mobile support (), which slides on some columns (), whereon it is fixed, by means of a clamping piece () and of some screws (), the mandibular component () consisting of a base plate (), whereon a column support () is fixed by means of some screws (), the connection with the columns () being provided by some other screws (), for fixing the artificial teeth there being provided: a support () for the mandibular component () and a support () for the maxillary component (), and their shape and dimensions allow the use of the wax models for typodonts in all the available variants.
