PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of highly accurately removing a blood vessel region, and a program.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes a blood vessel region identification unit, and a pixel value setup unit. The blood vessel region identification unit, on each of a plurality of volume data collected sequentially while contrasting, identifies a range of a feature amount corresponding to a non-blood vessel region for every kernel in a histogram of feature amounts of respective voxels included in the kernel.
