The present invention relates to an antioxidant composition comprising red ginseng oil as an active ingredient. Red ginseng oil, which is supercritically extracted, distilled, and obtained, has a higher anti-oxidation effect and lower acid value than other plant-derived oil, so that discoloration and fragrance change caused by the rancidity of oil because of high acid value can be improved. Accordingly, red ginseng oil of the present invention can be used as an effective component of an antioxidant pharmaceutical composition or cosmetic composition.본 발명은 홍삼 오일을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항산화용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 초임계 추출하고, 증류하여 수득한 홍삼 오일이 다른 식물 유래 오일에 비해서 항산화 효과가 높고, 산가가 낮기 때문에 높은 산가로 발생하는 오일의 산폐로 인한 변색/변취 등을 개선시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 홍삼 오일을 항산화용 약학적 조성물 또는 화장료 조성물의 유효성분으로 사용할 수 있다.
