the antifungal action of the aqueous extract of malapighia glabra linn this patent refers to the in vitro use of the aqueous extract of glabra malpighia.com antifungal activity against black fungi and hylinian fungi. the aqueous extract obtained from the pulp of m. glabra presented inhibitory action in fonsecaea spp.,as in the pathogenic form found in the human host, the muriform cells. In addition to presenting action in black fungi, the albican candid strains showed sensitivity to the extract. aqueous extract has been inhibited in different dilutions, both for conies, strains 01,02,03 and 05 (cim and cfm=1:4) and cepa 06 (cim and cfm=1:2) and for the strain of c. albicans (cim and cfm=1:2).ação antifúngica do extrato aquoso de malpighia glabra linn a presente patente refere-se ao uso in vitro do extrato aquoso de malpighia glabra l.com atividade antifúngica contra fungos negros e fungos hialinos. o extrato aquoso obtido a partir de polpa da m. glabra apresentou ação inibitória, em conídios de fonsecaea spp., como na forma patogênica encontrada no hospedeiro humano, as células muriformes. além de apresentar ação em fungos negros, a cepa de candida albicans mostrou ser sensível ao extrato. houve inibição do extrato aquoso em diferentes diluições, tanto para conídios, cepas 01,02,03 e 05 (cim e cfm=1:4) e cepa 06 (cim e cfm=1:2) como para a cepa de c. albicans (cim e cfm=1:2).
