PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blood collection tube for measuring a blood glucose level and/or a hemoglobin A1c value, capable of effectively suppressing a change in blood glucose level and/or hemoglobin A1c value in blood after blood collection, safely measuring the blood glucose level and/or the hemoglobin A1c value with high accuracy, and abbreviating a complicated operation such as storing in a refrigerator.SOLUTION: The blood collection tube is provided for use in a measurement of a blood glucose level and/or a hemoglobin A1c value in blood and includes: a body of the blood collection tube and a drug stored in the body of the blood collection tube. The drug contains maltose, a fluoride salt, and an acid for adjusting a pH.
