PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress mixture of impurities to hot melt adhesives when producing multiple types of absorbent articles in one production line, while suppressing the switching time or the like of the hot melt adhesives.SOLUTION: A production method of absorbent articles is provided for producing multiple types of absorbent articles in one production line including a coating apparatus. The coating apparatus 70 includes a first supply unit 71-1 for supplying first hot melt adhesives, a second supply unit 71-2 for supplying the second hot melt adhesives, a switching unit 76 for selecting either of the first and the second supply units, and a coating unit 82 for coating the first or the second hot melt adhesives to materials.
