Embodiments include an inhalant dispensing system comprising a substancedeliverycomponent coupled to an electronic inhalation device, wherein the system isconfigured toprovide at least two user-selectable modes of operation: a beginner modeconfigured to control,monitor, measure, and/or track dosing for more inexperienced users, and anexpert orprofessional mode configured to allow substantially uninhibited use for moreexperienced users.In some embodiments, a desired mode of operation may be selectively activatedusing thesubstance delivery component, such as, for example, based on how the componentis attached tothe inhalation device. In other embodiments, a desired mode of operation maybe selectivelyactivated using the inhalation device, such as, for example, via an inputselection device includedon the inhalation device.
