The present invention provides MPHOSPH1-derived epitope peptides having theabilityto induce cytotoxic T cells. The present invention further providespolynucleotides encoding thepeptides, antigen-presenting cells presenting the peptides, and cytotoxic Tcells targeting thepeptides, as well as methods of inducing the antigen-presenting cells or CTLs.The presentinvention also provides compositions and pharmaceutical compositionscontaining them as anactive ingredient. Further, the present invention provides methods of treatingand/or preventingcancer, and/or preventing postoperative recurrence thereof, using thepeptides, polynucleotides,antigen-presenting cells, cytotoxic T cells or pharmaceutical compositions ofthe presentinvention. Methods of inducing an immune response against cancer are alsoprovided.
