IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGEOUS FEATURES:- - OWING TO THE ELASTICITY OF SKIN AND SOFT TISSUES IN THE ABDOMINAL WALL, THE ENTRANCE INTO THE ABDOMINAL CAVITY CAN BE STARTED WITH 5MM FOLLOWED BY EXPANSION TO L0MM WITHOUT INCREASING {HE LENGTH OF THE WOUND, WHICH LEADS TO REDUCTION IN THE RISK OF HERNIA. - QUICK CHANGE IN DIAMETER REDUCES THE OPERATIVE TIME. - NO NEED OF REDUCER (ADAPTOR).
