PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cosmetic having excellent moisture retention effect and smooth feeling and sustaining the effect.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-in-water type emulsified skin cosmetic which comprises the following components (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) and (F): (A) 0.05 to 3 mass% of an anionic surfactant, (B) 0.1 to 6 mass% of a higher alcohol, (C) 0.3 to 6 mass% of one or two or more compounds selected from a monofatty acid glycerin ester, a difatty acid glycerin ester, a monofatty acid sorbitan ester and a difatty acid sorbitan ester, (D) 0.001 to 2 mass% of a highly polymerized silicone, (E) 0.01 to 1.5 mass% of an organic base and (F) water, wherein the mass ratio (A)/[(B)+(C)] of component (A) to the total amount [(B)+(C)] of component (B) and component (C) is 0.05 to 0.5 and the mass ratio (B)/[(B)+(C)] of component (B) to the total amount [(B)+(C)] of component (B) and component (C) is 0.2 to 0.75.SELECTED DRAWING: None
