PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for displaying a radiographic image, which appropriately apply a marker for facilitating viewing a three-dimensional image to a three-dimensional radiographic image.SOLUTION: Two radiographic image are obtained by exposing a subject compressed by a compressing board to radiation rays from two different imaging positions. A shift rate calculating portion 8c calculates a shift rate to apply a marker to the two radiographic images based on the thickness of the subject and the two positions so as to have the same three-dimensional appearance as a three-dimensionally largest part of the subject. A marker applying portion 8d applies the markers to the two radiographic images at calculated shift rates.
