Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kopfstütze, die als einstückiger symmetrischer Formkörper ausgebildet ist, der im Wesentlichen eine X-Form mit einem zentralen Mittelteil besitzt, von dem aus sich nach außen jeweils diagonal gegenüberliegende Schenkel erstrecken. Die Kopfstütze umfasst außerdem ein Nackenband, das die Kopfstütze in ihrer Position zwischen dem Kinn und dem oberen Brustbereich der Person hält, welche die Kopfstütze trägt. Die Kopfstütze ist leicht zu handhaben und ihre X-Form bietet verschiedene Vorteile.
