PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt table which is correctly tilted at a prescribed speed without relying on a load and also by which the height of a mat is easily adjusted. SOLUTION: An electrically driven motor whose speed is controllable is used in a tilt mechanism part for tilting a mat part, the rotation speed of the motor is detected which it is converted into an electric pulse signal and the signals are counted to obtain a pulse number. While the mat part is being tilted at a prescribed speed, the motor rotation speed, is stored as pulse number. The pulse number is compared with a present pulse number at the prescribed tilting speed so that the rotation speed of the motor is controlled to be the prescribed speed, thereby the mat is tilted at the speed.
