PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medical equipment for easily performing the traction operation of an operating line.SOLUTION: Medical equipment (for instance, a catheter 10) includes: a long and flexible body part (sheath 16) an operating line 40 which is embedded in the body part and whose distal end is fixed to the distal end of the body part and a hand operation part 70 provided to the proximal end of the body part, for performing the operation of bending the body part by pulling the operating line 40. The hand operation part 70 includes: a body case 700 a wheel operation part 760 provided rotatably with respect to the body case 700 with a crossing direction to the longitudinal axis of the proximal end of the body part as a rotary axis and a traction part (for instance, a take-up reel 740) for pulling the operating line 40 linked with the operation and rotation of the wheel operation part 760.
