The present disclosure relates to a method for providing banking of autologous human somatic cells that can be reprogrammed to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSs), transdifferentiated into tissue-specific stem cells, such as induced neural stem cells (iNSCs) or differentiated into post-mitotic (neural lineage-committed) progenitor cells, for use in treatments based on cell therapies, such as but not limited to treatments of diseases of the central nervous system. The disclosure also relates to a business method for providing key additional value to the stem cell banking service, such as, but not limited to, the early derivation and manufacturing of autologous stem cells from human tissues or biological fluids and its banking for 20 years or more, and methods for further certification of the banked stem cells in compliance to approved Good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards for their cell therapy manufacturing and therapeutic use in clinics.
