The present disclosure relates to a method for providing banking of autologous human somatic cells that can be reprogrammed to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSs), transdifferentiated into tissue-specific stem cells, such as induced neural stem cells (iNSCs) or differentiated into post-mitotic (neural lineage-committed) progenitor cells, for use in treatments based on cell therapies, such as but not limited to treatments of diseases of the central nervous system.
