An apparatus for generating aerosol comprises a capillary tube (20) comprisesat least one bend, fluid inlets (20a, 20b) in communication with a fluidsource (22) and an outlet (20c) along the bend. The capillary tube is heatedto a temperature sufficient to volatilize fluid in the capillary tube, suchthat the volatilized fluid discharges from the outlet to form an aerosol. Amethod of generating an aerosol is also disclosed.
