PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device efficiently leading light to an adapter from an optical illumination unit.SOLUTION: A light source device 10 includes: an optical illumination unit 400 converting an optical property of primary light emitted from a light source unit 200, and emitting secondary light different from the primary light and an adapter 800 which emits illumination light generated based on the secondary light emitted from the optical illumination unit 400 to the outside and are attachable/detachable to/from the optical illumination unit 400.
