It builds on the wide availability of computer vision programs to identify facial expression related to emotion. An image is displayed back (mirrored) to the viewer as a picture in picture using the device showing them their expression highlighting areas of stress in the forehead from muscle contractions. The image can be interpreted by the viewer to encourage them to relax their facial expression reducing the chances of wrinkles in the forehead and/or tension headaches from stress, eyestrain/squinting and adverse/concerned expression causing the brow to furrow. An indicator icon or feedback signal played instead of displaying an image. The feedback could also be gamified/linked to social media. It may also result in reduced overall stress and improved wellbeing.
