PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a monitor and a support arm mechanism to be kept in a posture suitable for a situation even when using the support arm mechanism with a high degree of freedom.SOLUTION: A lower arm 12 is lockable at a position in parallel with the front and rear direction of an ultrasonic diagnostic system. An upper arm 13 is lockable in a superimposition state on the lower arm 12. An arm lock release button 16 for simultaneously releasing the lower arm 12 and the upper arm 13 is arranged on the side surface of the lower arm 12. Inclination toward the front part of the monitor 6 is restricted by a predetermined inclination angle (e.g., 30°) in the middle of the inclination range.
