PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shorts-type disposable diaper which has excellent fitting property, enables legs to be easily put through, and is easily put on.
SOLUTION: The shorts-type disposable diaper includes joining bands 80 to be fitted onto the outer surfaces of opposing body parts, which are arranged on the side part of a front body part F and the side part of a rear body part B in one portions of a width direction. An intersection part 85 in one joining band 80 intersects an intersection part 85 in the other joining band 80 so that string shape parts 84 which constitute the longitudinally middle part of the one joining band 80 and are arranged in parallel with one another in a vertical direction alternately intersect string shape parts 84 which constitute the longitudinally middle part of the other joining band 80 and are arranged in parallel with one another in a vertical direction. The front body part F is joined with the rear body part B by the intersection of the joining bands 80. The joining bands 80 of the respective body parts have fitting parts 83 at portions protruded to the outside of the joining bands 80 of the opposing body parts.
