The present invention relates to a molding jig for an orthodontic wire, the structure of which is improved so that a wire rod can be easily formed into a curved U-shape by using first and second molding jigs and a heating furnace. The present invention comprises: a first molding jig which has an outer circumferential surface formed in an oval shape and having a wire rod wound therearound and upper and lower surfaces formed with a cutting groove in the longitudinal direction to cut the wound wire rod in a ″U″ shape, and is composed of a heatable material in the heating furnace； and a second molding jig which has a lower jig having an upper surface formed in a round hemispherical shape so as to form the wire rod cut in the ″U″ shape in the form of an orthodontic wire and a protrusion in the form of the orthodontic wire protruding upward on the hemispherical upper surface, and has an upper jig coupled by a connection bolt to cover an upper portion of the lower jig, having a lower surface formed in an arc shape, and having a molding protrusion corresponding to an edge of the protrusion on both left and right sides of the lower surface.본 발명은 선재 와이어를 제1,2성형지그 및 가열로를 이용하여 굴곡이 있는 U자 형태로 간편하게 성형할 수 있도록 그 구조가 개선된 치아 교정와이어 성형용 지그에 관한 것이다.본 발명은 외주면이 선재 와이어가 감겨지는 타원형으로 형성되고, 상,하면에 상기 감겨진 선재 와이어를 "U"자 형태로 절단할 수 있도록 길이방향으로 절단홈이 각각 형성되며, 가열로 내에서 가열 가능한 소재로 구성되는 제1성형지그와； 상기 "U"자 형태로 절단된 선재 와이어를 치아 교정와이어 형태로 성형하도록 상부면이 라운드진 반구형으로 형성되고 상기 반구형의 상부면에 교정와이어의 형태의 돌출부가 상측으로 돌출되는 하부지그와, 상기 하부지그의 상부를 덮도록 연결볼트로 결합되고 하부면이 원호형태로 형성되며 하부면 좌,우 양측에 상기 돌출부의 테두리에 대응되는 성형돌부가 형성된 상부지그를 구비한 제2성형지그；로 구성된다.
