PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil system capable of reducing the number of cables.
SOLUTION: An MRI apparatus and a voltage induction coil are provided. The voltage induction coil 6 is connected to a power source 8, and when a voltage is supplied from the power source 8, a current flows to a voltage induction coil element L and a magnetic field is generated. Since the generated magnetic field passes through the coil elements 71-79 of a reception coil 7, a magnetic flux density passing through the coil elements 71-79 changes and electromotive force is generated in the coil elements 71-79. A blocking circuit BL is operated by the electromotive force, and the reception coil 7 is set to a disable state.
