METAL COMPLEXING METHOD OF TROPOLONES AND/OR PHENOLS IN PLANT ESSENTIAL OIL, AND PLANT ESSENTIAL OIL CONTAINING TROPOLONES AND/OR PHENOLS METAL-COMPLEXED BY USING THE METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate antibacterial activity and insect repelling performance, and to include only a metal complexing tropolones and/or phenols in a plant essential oil.SOLUTION: Aqueous solution containing metal ion of a metal for metal-complexing tropolones and/or phenols is brought into contact with a plant essential oil by stirring, and then only a plant essential oil separated in an upper layer of the aqueous solution is collected. Thujopsis essential oil is used as the plant essential oil. Further, copper ion, iron ion or zinc ion is used as the metal ion.【課題】 抗菌力、防虫力が長続きし、しかも植物精油中にトロポロン類及び／又はフェノール類を錯体化する金属のみを含ませることができるようにする。【解決手段】 トロポロン類及び／又はフェノール類を金属錯体化する金属の金属イオンが含まれた水溶液と植物精油とを攪拌より接触させた後、前記水溶液の上層に分離した植物精油をのみを採取する。この植物精油としては、ヒバ精油が用いられる。また、金属イオンには、銅イオン、鉄イオン、亜鉛イオンが用いられる。【選択図】 図１
