Выводят нить из глаза через основной разрез, причем один конец нити проводят через зрачок и, прошив радужную оболочку насквозь снизу вверх приблизительно на 12 часах, выкалывают в пределах передней гаптической части ИОЛ. Далее оба конца нити, выходящие из основного разреза, затягивают, следя за тем, чтобы нить фиксировала оптический цилиндр ИОЛ.
