PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of stabilizing an internal temperature of a static magnetic field magnet at a desired temperature by prioritizing scanning over cooling of the static magnetic field magnet, and also capable of preventing the deterioration of the image quality caused by shake of the static magnetic field magnet.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: a static magnetic field magnet for generating a static magnetic field in an imaging region where an analyte is placed a refrigerator body 15 disposed in a scanner device that shakes during an operation for cooling the static magnetic field magnet a scan controller 42 for setting a sequence based on an operation interval of the refrigerator body 15, and causing scanning to be performed according to the sequence and an image reconstruction part 43 for generating an image based on the data by the scanning.
